We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sean Gibson as Corporate Finance Manager, alongside the completion of our first fully overseas advisory engagement.

Strengthening Our Team

Sean joins us following more than six years at Deloitte, where he progressed from assistant manager to manager. His extensive experience in handling complex accounting issues for ambitious businesses across the UK makes him a valuable addition to our growing team.

A Landmark International Deal

2026 has begun with a significant milestone for our firm. We have completed financial due diligence on our first transaction entirely outside the UK, supporting HAVN Capital—a specialist private equity investor focused on the energy transition – on its acquisition of a majority stake in Spares in Motion BV, an independent wind turbine spare parts provider headquartered in Rotterdam.

This follows our recent work providing financial due diligence and buy-side support to long-standing client Cardo Group, a leader in social housing across Scotland, on its acquisition of Faskin Group, a roofing contractor based in Paisley.

Building on a Strong First Year

Our debut year in 2025 saw us advise on 23 completed deals with a cumulative value exceeding £280 million. We are also proud to have been shortlisted for Financial Due Diligence Provider at the Real Deals Private Equity Awards 2026.

Melanie Clark, Partner at Quantify, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome someone of Sean’s calibre to the team who will instantly make a meaningful impact, providing trusted corporate finance advice to our base of clients across the UK and Europe.

“We’ve had a terrific start to the year and expect this appointment to be the first of many as we continue to build a leading independent corporate finance advisory firm, offering partner-led advice across the entire spectrum of corporate finance and transaction services.”

On the overseas deal, Tom Faichnie, Partner at Quantify, said: “We’re proud of our long-standing relationship with the HAVN team with whom we have worked with over the last 10 years.

“This latest deal represents an important moment for Quantify as it not only demonstrates our enduring ability to provide trusted support on complex private equity transactions but also helps to position our firm as a genuine European due diligence provider.”
